Noesitherapy is not hypnosis, but is a little known technique discovered by Dr. Angel Escudero, who has used this form of psychological anaesthesia to perform numerous operations without chemical anaesthesia.  Dr. Escudero is a Spanish surgeon who came to the UK and demonstrated his method in 1991 in 'Your LIfe In Their Hands' when he performed an operation on camera in front of another British doctor without the use of hypnosis, chemical anaesthesia, pain killing blocks or any such anaesthetics.  Dr. Escudera has also used this technique for other conditions, including reducing severe asthma attacks dramatically in a little boy.
