About Me

I qualified as a professional clinical hypnotherapist and hypnoanalyst in 2001, and gained my training in practical applications & techniques of medical hypnosis and noesitherapy at the International Institute of Clinical & Medical Hypnosis in 2009.  During my professional career I have spent thousands of hours helping hundreds of clients resolve their problems and achieve their ambitions. I believe passionately in helping people to help themselves and am lucky enough to have a career which I love. I like to work in a relaxed and friendly way and am told I am a very warm and approachable person.

I am, I hope, an intelligent but open minded individual, with a non nonensense approach to complimentary therapies and their claims.  I have long been fascinated by the mind-body connection and how our emotions and beliefs can sometimes afefct our physical wellbeing and my fascination with this field has led me to some fascinating and amazing discoveries along the way.  I have investigates more complementary therapies that I can eve begin to recall, some of which tool=k me along paths I would never have dreamed of.  There is groundbreaking research and new discoveries about the connections between our minds and bodies coming to light every day.  The relatively new fields of psyconeuroimmunology, epogenetics and energy medicine are still only in their infancy, but they are already helping countless people find new ways of healing, enablig them to improve their mental, physical and spiritual health.

I am fully covered by professional indemnity insurance and am an accredited member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy and the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy, which is based in England and which has members all over the world. What sets the APHP in particular apart from most of the numerous hypnotherapy organisations is the fact that every single member has been personally interviewed before being invited to join and/or has received comprehensive training by a school whose standards have been rigorously investigated.

It is not possible to become a member of this Association by applying, as it is with many other organisations.

As a member I am bound by a strict code of ethics which forbids me to practice outside my area of expertise and protects my clients, ensuring that they receive a high level of care. My membership also commits me to an ongoing training programme which ensures that my knowledge and skills are always completely up to date. My membership of the APHP also guarantees that all clients can rely on my absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times.

I enjoy working with a wide range of problems, in fact I probably work with more mind-body related problems than you might think! So if you want help with something not mentioned here or are unsure about anything or want to ask me any questions please do feel free to phone or e-mail me for more information.

*As is required and recommended, I am happy to contact your doctor for you to obtain his/her permission before working with any condition which may have a physiological cause.*

Always bear in mind that regardless of what you may have been led to believe, some issues may require a degree of willpower - as in every area of life, the more committed you are to achieving what you want to achieve, the more likely you are to succeed.
