FAQ's
Q. What is hypnosis?
A. Hypnosis is simply a natural state of relaxation where your body is perfectly relaxed and your mind intensely focussed, often with heightened awareness. It is safe and completely non-addictive.
Q. Will I be under your control in any way?
A. No - hypnosis is a voluntary state which you can leave whenever you want to and you would most certainly not be under my control in any way!
Q. Can I get stuck in hypnosis?
A. No - it's completely impossible!
Q. I'm very strong willed - can I still get into hypnosis?
A. Being strong willed is actually an advantage - the stronger your mind the better! It means you will be able to focus more clearly.
Q. Will I be unconscoius and is it safe to drive afterwards?
A. You will not be unconscious or in a daze and it will be perfectly safe for you to drive immediately after your session.
Q. How will I know I'm hypnotised?
A. There's no such thing as a 'hypnotised feeling'. sometimes clients report heaviness in their arms and legs, but may feel nothing but wonderfully relaxed and lazy.
Q. Will I blurt out my deepest, darkest secrets?
A. Not unless you choose to!
I enjoy working with a wide range of problems, in fact I probably work with more mind-body related problems than you might think! So if you want help with something not mentioned here or are unsure about anything or want to ask me any questions please do feel free to phone or e-mail me for more information.
*As is required and recommended, I am happy to contact your doctor for you to obtain his/her permission before working with any condition which may have a physiological cause.*
Always bear in mind that regardless of what you may have been led to believe, some issues may require a degree of willpower - as in every area of life, the more committed you are to achieving what you want to achieve, the more likely you are to succeed.
