Holistic Hypnotherapy

I believe that it is important for us to achieve balance in our lives and I always work to treat the whole person, where applicable.  Our mind, body and spirit are all components which go to make up the perfect whole (hence the term whole-istic or holistic) and problems in one area of our lives often impacts on another.  If you have a heavy cold, for example, I doubt you breeze through your day full of the joys of spring and if yyou feel low or depressed it's more likely that you notice every ache and pain more than you usually would.

Sometimes a problem involves more than one facet of us, perhaps you suffer Irritable Bowel Syndrome and you find that stress makes it worse or maybe chronic pain makes it difficult to feel anything other than resentment towards the apparently carefree world.

Not everybody has a spiritual perspective on life and that is fine, because it’s not of interest to some people, but for someone who feels that they need an element of spirituality in their lives, the lack of this or a problem in this area can make them feel dissatisfied or unhappy in their lives.

I am a client centred therapist, which means that I always work with what youm the client, wants and if you feel that your problem is impacting more than one area of your life I am happy to explore any connections we may discover.

*As is required and recommended, I am happy to contact your doctor for you to obtain his/her permission before working with any condition which may have a physiological cause.*

Always bear in mind that regardless of what you may have been led to believe, some issues may require a degree of willpower - as in every area of life, the more committed you are to achieving what you want to achieve, the more likely you are to succeed.
